BE IT KNOWN THROUGHOUT THE LAND on 10 November, in the year of our God Emperor 1 DE, that
 
					WHEREAS

The long and oppressive reign of Shoshanna Green and Jed Shumsky has resulted in a state of 
SWIL so weird as to defy imagining, and that

					WHEREAS

The previous leadership became so frightened by the possibility of their actions resulting in 
violent uprising that they publicly made known their opposition to this coup d'etat without 
acting to stop it, and that

					WHEREAS

That glorious uprising did successfully occur, despite their efforts to suppress the people's 
revolution, resulting in the destined anointing of GAD EMPEROR KWISATZ HADERACH ED THE
FIRST, and that

					WHEREAS

Both the people and the GAD EMPEROR have ordained that the previous leaders, namely Jed
Shumsky and Shoshanna Green, deserve no better than to be tried for CRIMES AGAINST THE STATE, that

					THEREFORE

a trial of the former Weyrleaders is hereby demanded.

Here is presented the state's case against Shoshanna green and Jed Shumsky:  They are
accused of:

     1) Failure to acquire the services of decent caterers for the weekly SWIL meetings.
     2) Forcing inanimate rocks to join against their wishes.
     3) Failure to inspire the proper air of command by lacking regal-sounding names (Green?
	Shumsky? How about Vader?)
     4) Failure to obtain adequate publicity (i.e. not getting the Pterodactyl Hunt written
	up in Newsweek)

There are 140 other charges, but need I go on?

THEREFORE, it is my decision, as Grand Inquisitor and Lord High Executioner, that the two 
defendants are GUILTY ON ALL COUNTS.

The punishment laid down by the state on Shoshanna Green and Jed Shumsky is to represent the 
wishes of the people as they have failed to do previously.  They are hereby and forthwith 
ordered to act as Reverend Mother of the Bene Gesserit and Naid, respectively.  In addition, 
to further show them the errors of their old ways and to insure their loyalty under the new 
regime, they are ordered to (1) Eat Egg and Chili Puff, and (2) wear funny hats.  This is the 
decision of the state.
