(Well, those of you who read this in the afternoon, anyway.) This 'news has some vital things in it, so please read it! For example, people who want to go to PhilCon '93 in November need to give unto me $30.00 BEFORE THE FIRST WEDNESDAY AFTER BREAK, i.e. before 10:27:93. I'm sending off the check on Thursday so it'll be sure to get there before the prices go up on November 1st. Let me know REAL SOON if you're planning to go and haven't signed up! We have a bunch of monsters for the Pterodactyl Hunt but we still need more! Orcs and hobgoblins, to be specific. If you haven't signed up, or if you have friends who haven't signed up, send e-mail to Lesley Tsina (ltsina1) and do so! It will happen at 8:00PM on October 29th, and will be great big gobs of fun for all involved. The number of special monsters is down from last year, so there should be that many more of you dying to be orcs&hobs. Sign up. The SWILowe'en party/storyreading will happen the day after, i.e. Saturday the 30th in Sharples 3 (I think). This is one of those stone buildings down by the tennis courts and the Womens' Center. Give $2.00 to Andrea if you'd like to go, and by all means prepare a costume over break. There will be games, stories, socializing, and a round of Oh Hell because I haven't played in far too long. :)= Be prepared for Pumpkin Caroling on Sunday the 31st, where we go door to door (in costume!) singing Hallowe'en filks of Christmas carols, collecting whatever candy happens to be thrown our way. We usually amuse much of the Ville in this manner--come with us and be merry. Dinosaurs and random other folk should tell Kendra (keshlem1) when would be a good day in April to hold the SWIL 15th reunion. We're narrowing it down--really, honestly we are. Final details should be set within a week or two after break. We hope. Our ranks have swelled once again with the addition of two new non-members, Elizabeth Christian and Jeremy Dilatush (who bears a startling resemblance to a young Jeff Hildebrand), who proved their sentience most admirably. Welcome to our humble organization. Notice: there will be NOOOOO...rule six! In addition, there will be no Prisoner showing this week 'cause I'll be wingin' my way home on USAir, and I don't think y'all will be on my flight. Lest we forget, there was attendance last week, although not in our usual room since it was flagrantly occupied by some '84 alumni. But these were the attendants: TENDONS LIST for 10:9:93 Colin "What was that about 84?" Schatz; Nina "I only came for the Pterodactyl Hunt" Paynter; Elizabeth "Knife-wielding Psycho (hee! hee!)" Christian; Matthew Christian--I am not among the members.; Dan Wells; Kendra "Charles Danforth" Eshleman; Kendra "Kathy Davis" Eshleman; Kendra "Josh Burdick" Eshleman; Kendra "Heather Brinkhous" Eshleman; Kendra "Robert Richardson" Eshleman; Kendra "Geoff Noer" Eshleman; Kendra "Larry Miller" Eshleman; Kendra "Jeremy Dilatush" Eshleman; Kendra "Don Lehr" Eshleman; Kendra "Beth Bruch" Eshleman; Kendra "Annie Fox" Eshleman; Kendra "Andrea Hall" Eshleman; Kendra "Lesley Tsina" Eshleman; Kendra "Justin Giacoletti" Eshleman; Jim "Kendra Eshleman" Moskowitz [And what can I say about that? --O] ----Praefecti Quondam Praefectique Futuri ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*
