We would also like to thank all the wonderful people who submitted all the super-nifty t-shirt designs. Thank you very much. Alex Weirich and Bruce Hahne have most graciously volunteered their very precious Swarthmore time and their own efforts to bring to us all what promises to be a delightful experience (or experiment, actually probably both, no arbitrary mutual exclusivity here!), a Pterodactyl Hunt in the spring (or, for those of you have never experienced this before, Kate McIntosh in a garbage bag beating people over the head with a sword!). We hope to add just a bit of flavor to what promises to be an excellent Spring Fling. Hope to see you all there! In what promises to be another fun-filled, exciting sci-fi experience, Julie Love and Chris Cobb are holding the next in their series of discussion groups about that most holy of topics, science fiction and its relation to the Real World (which, it has been determined, does exist. Film at 11, seminar at 12.) This is the third in this simply exquisite series, and this one will discuss, specifically, Technophobia, or fear of TechNoses, which, I must admit, I am completely unfamiliar with. There may or may not be a book on reserve, under SWIL, to read in preparation for the discussion. Called Starburst, the book contains a story, "Fondly Fahrenheit," which is must reading. Written by Alfred Betterer (oh, sorry BESTER. that's better.) Jim Moskowitz will facilitate with his considerable facilitating talents: his silver tongue, his radiant mind, and his eminently cheerful manner. Go for it, Jim! (Rumor has it that Samuel R. Delany, winner of several really neat science fiction awards and probably basically a cool person, will possibly be coming to speak on this campus, courtesy of Jed's efforts. Yeah!!) The Theme of this Swilnews has been Goodness, Beauty, Truth and Light. Thank you for reading it. We would like to leave you with pleasant images of marshmellows, candy canes and things, so think of Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds!! Picturing ourselves on a boat on a river, We are, in all honesty, the Presidents that go !!====!!
