Parents' Weekend happened.  It was fun.  The fantastic ritual combat of Live
Chess once again enthralled its audience, although it had to be held in Parrish
Commons due to the inclement weather.  White (the good side) beat black (the

It was Parents' Weekend.  There was Live Chess in Commons.  White won.  Black
didn't.  "But they were both detectives!" (Sorry, wrong intro).  

Parents' Weekend happened.  It was fun.  The fantastic ritual combat of Live
Chess once again enthralled its audience, although it had to be held in Parrish
Commons due to the inclement weather.  White (the good side) beat black (the
bad side) much to the satisfaction of the white and dissatisfaction of the
black.  Huzza to Queen Franmax.  In other news, there's a summer internship
available with Drood Review of Mystery in Boston, (yes, you would be paid) run
by none other than Jim Huang '82, founder of Swil.  Interested folks may find
more information at CP&P or the Swilboard.  Jim Himself will be here on April
24th to do interviews.  The Swarthmore Public Library Booksale is going on even
as we write ... it will continue (with a short break for sleep) until Saturday
afternoon or evening.  For those who need directions, it's in the Ville, near
the Keystone, the Co-op, and the police station.  T-shirts will be ordered
soon!!  Get your orders in!!  Walpurgisnacht story-reading will probably be
